Vakuumpack

The requirements for the durability of vacuum-packed foods are relatively high. It often requires a durability of 24 months, while the food is packed in very efficient packaging machines. Examples of foods that are vacuum-packed are coffee, salmon and other sea products, meat, and bacon.

The laminates required to meet the requirements in this area are very often constructed as 2, 3, or 4 ply laminates with combinations of PET, OPA, OPP, CPP, aluminum, and various types of PE with or without barrier.

In all cases there is a laminate designed to meet the requirements of the individual customer.
